MSD Ignition???
 

Has anyone out there had any luck with MSD ignitions and distributers,Ive got a 6AL and billet dizzy I want to throw in my 2.4 turbo and wondered if anyone is running this set up with fuel inject6ion/turbo and ifso how does it go and was it hard to set up?

i dont have a turbo or fuel injection but i do have nitrous. the msd is pretty easy to deal with. the only thing is the 6al (which is the same i have) is an analog box where msd is now making a digital 6 series.on my setup i have added a rpm window switch and timing retard for when he nitrous system is activated, i understand that a boost retard would probably be in order if you were gonna run a great deal of mechanical advance.over all the msd is easy to work with and easy to adjust.mallory is also fairly adjustable and easy to work with as well.

Yeah I dont think the 6AL is the best choice for my set up but budget requires I make it work,Ive been talkin to MSD and they are very helpful,Nitross sounds like a killer!thanks 4 your imput

it can be if you are not careful. its a tuning tool.and it makes tons of torque.
