sounds like a rip off!
AAs are great! Almost balanced out of the box and are far far superior to the Cimas. Get them from Kona and save a dollar. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifie...l.php?id=50225 |
i got the last ultra vw (march issue) and it has an article named " Horsepower Wars.
there were some major US companies such as Clyde Berg Engines, CB, Bugpack etc.. CB Performance used AA pistons (94mm) and an 84mm crank and made the most (224@6500). Ok, the engines were built only for the shootout, thus reliability wasn't a major factor, but still seeing CBP using them is a good thing Note that from 10 in total, 3 used mahle, 3 used wiseco, 2 used AA, one JE and one cima. Its a very interesting article for all to read Chris |
yea, i've heared good word about AAs, they are made in china, but a good quality, however they are still new, and the reliabilty test didn't finish with most engines...time will judge them.
and for the price, yes i think it's too high. good luck... |
