redrilled 944 brakes

i just got a full set of 944 brakes, suspension, etc., but my new wheels are 5x100 pattern. i don't wish to buy new wheels and i don't really want porsche wheels anyway, so is it possible to redrill the hubs and rotors to another lug pattern? since i already own these it'd be cool to use 'em, and how much harder can that be than milling down a drum as a hub? i really want the 5x100 pattern because of the oem+ possibilities, and i'm a college guy on a near-zero budget.

maybe i'll be the guinea pig for this?

i got a deal on some boxster s turbo twists so i guess i'm joining the ranks of the porsched and selling my 5x100s. oh well, i guess it won't be so bad.

Congrats on giving in to 130mm finally. I thought someone else might have posted about the 100mm on a 944 hub. The design of the 944 hub would not allow for a 30mm smaller diameter pattern easily. You would have to remove so much material on the back to have flat enough spot for studs... you may aswell use another hub (custom). Using blind holes with threaded studs could be an option, but not as strong as press in studs. The rears are not much more forgiving either.

thanks for the info because that makes me feel better about caving to the movement. now i just have to figure out how to most easily tuck 8.5" rears with no money to buy $350 fenders. yikes!
