Proud owner of a DTM shroud
Finally was able to allocate funds to a DTM system for my Type IV.
Struggled back and forth on which system, 911, Cali, or DTM style. Finally pulled the trigger on one I found. Package arrived, this week, opened it up and I must say it is a nifty piece of art. Very excited, as this will go on a 103mm 2.7 lt type iv that I will be rebuilding with some help. Just need to reverse engineer the motor as it was someone elses.. What a chore. Again very excited, now I need to save up for an exhaust.. Unfortunately my wife was not as excited, can understand why :( DTM #148 Alex |
You will be very happy with the DTM. If you got the cast iron 103 mm cylinders, the DTM might keep them alive a little longer than other cooling systems.

Congratulations, and welcome aboard. :agree: :agree:

i ran a FAT 911 and DTM on the same engine. you can't beat the DTM for cooling in my experience and on my setup. it may not be as cool looking, but the 50 degree difference i saw in my heads and about 10 in oil is more than a fair tradeoff.
congrats on the purchase! |
