Prefered Oil line Diameter

I currently have a full flow system with a remote oil filter and oil cooler. I'm running 3/8" lines. I heard that I should go up to 1" to prevent engine oil starvation. Please advise.

P.S. Oil temp currently in Highway with fan is 180

1" is rediculous. ½" is fine and is what most use.

I meant 1/2" sorry. I've just learned the hard way that 1/2 is needed. I blew out my oil filter ring. Big mess.
