what settings for a fast street 1303?
 

hi, i'm looking at setting my car up at work and would like people opinions on what settings i should use. the car is a 1303, lowered a lot, coil overs on the front, 100pound springs, 21mm anti roll bar, adjustable track control arms and added castor by moving front wheel forward 10mm. SAW's adjustable spring plates on the rear, with 19mm roll bar, 944 23.5mm torsion bars, KYB's. poly bush all round. early 944 brakes and 7x15 with 205 55 15's on front and 225 60 15's out back. have a wasserboxer motor and 901 5 speed so bit heavier at the rear and rad and strut bracing added at the front.
have access to a laser toe/camber/castor alignment gauge. cheers for any advice :)

this is how i set mine up, but would not recomend it for the road. very unstable and twitchy.
have a 21mm anti roll bar up front and a 19mm on the rear.
7x15 front and 8x15 rear
front
runiing 45mm ground clearance at the front
130lb spring
toe 1* toe out
camber -3*
caster stock
rear
toe 1* toe out
camber -2*
lowered one spline and adjusted on the 944 spring plates
will be changing this as have gone wider on the rims and need to control the camber a bit better with the wider tryes.

cheers, i'm really after advice for a street driven car thou. 1* toe out at the rear must make it turn in very quickly:shocked: :driving: hehe i like these new smilies.

anyone know the alignment numbers for a 964 or 993? might be a good place to start? i dunno, i'm actaully starting to think about hill climbing myself, main problem is i'd get destroyed cus i think i'd ave to run in the unlimted class, but does sound like fun. so will keep note of them setting judgie:D . i'd really like to see yours in action too.

For street I would use -1,5 degree of camber instead of -3 degrees ( :shocked: ). I have -1,2 now and for circuit use its a bit too little..(understeer)

have run up to -5* on the front in testing! very heavy steering. -3* is the best compremise i found to get heat into the front tires quick and give me good turn in.
it will all change for next year as running wider rims and differant offsets plus softer slicks :D
