Volks Jamboree 2008: Feb 23rd & 24th
 

ok GL'ers, I'm organizing a VW event in Florida when its cold in the rest
of the country. Come on down for some nice weather, a great location,
and a really good time... here are the details...

Wolfsburg Kreuzers 2nd Annual Winter Jam Weekend

Volks Jamboree: Sunday, February 24th 2008 VW Show & Swap Meet

Show Location: 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange, Florida 32129

Show Time: 8am to 4pm (Spectators not allowed in before 8am)

Show Car Check- In: 7am to 11am (Judging starts @ 11am sharp)

Vendor Check-In: 6am to 9am (please setup by 8am for spectators)

Event Admission:
*FREE for Spectators, but please bring 1 can of food for the 'Operation Caring Thru Sharing' Food Drive
*Vendors & Show Participants are also asked to bring 1 can of food too for the OCTS food drive

Show Features:
*Beautiful parklike venue with plenty trees for shade & a big lake
*Show Cars will be parked on the road all the way around the lake
*Concrete skake park that is open to the public. Under 18 skate w/ waivor
*Bike & Walk path that circles the lake
*Dogs on leashes allowed on path (please be courteous)
*Amphitheater with seating will feature live DJ's & a band plus awards ceremony!
*Good People * Great Food * Good Times

BarBCruise: Saturday, February 23rd 2008

Pre-Show BBQ Cookout / Cruise thru the Loop / Sonic Big Finale


BBQ Location: The VW Lot on the Corner of Jersey Avenue & Holly St Daytona Beach, Florida.

BBQ Time: Starts @ 2pm to 5pm (5pm - 6pm organizing the cruise)

BBQ Features:Cookout with Music, Games, & Prizes. Free Admission.

VW Cruise: 6pm to 7pm (cruise will probably take about 45 minutes). We will start organizing
the cruise around 5 and start around 6pm

Sonic Location: 2020 South Ridgewood Ave, South Daytona, Florida

Sonic Time: 7pm to 10pm

PreRegistration is closed... (unless you can get it in my hands by this friday!)

The Rain has stopped. Its starting to clear up. There may be one
more shower in the afternoon, but tonight is going to be nice and
Sunday is going to be SUNNY :)

The show location grounds was a very nice spot, well done. The weather was perfect, the show overall was good.
