Yeah, I'm not really sure that your a GL wannabe, I think you've squarely crossed over to GERMANLOOK!!! Looks very clean, and the thinking is very GL if you ask me. The P-car centercaps kind of finish off the GL look nicely I'd say. Very nice.

Beam narrowing done for the right reason :)

Phat73VW August 5th 2008 04:24

I likes! :righton:Your stance is where I want my car to be! Your bug is definetely a GL like Volkdent said!!

AIRSICK August 5th 2008 09:49

Thanks!

Thanks for all the great comments. I will keep working on it.

I really love the car. I would like to get a type 4 screamer and a five speed someday.

But until then I am going to enjoy the heck out of it.

Sweet ride. Look's GL to me. I really like the plumbing in the engine bay. Nice breather box too...I can see a hint of some "engine turning" on the face of it...those scotchbrite disc's work great!

Absolutely love the car! Great stance indeed! Very clean and has that certain quality/tech 'look'.(just the mirrors, i dunno ;) )

Way to go Idaho! Love the custom plates  I used to live in boise a few years ago and never saw you at the meets. I'll be up there later this month and I'd love to see it in person :D

Idler pulley

Hi, just want to give you a heads up on the CB Performance pulley setup. That idle pulley is plastic, and has in some occations come off the bearing.

CB Idler Pully

Hey, Thanks for the heads up!
I will check it out. Do you have any Idea what I could replace it with?

I suppose a BMD pully system.

Idler pulley

I had my machinst make mine out of metal and with a snap ring. Maybe you can have one made, not that much to it?
