Koni red and yellow
lightning bug, the part number you gave me are for Koni Reds...(street Special)
Koni also has the Yellow (street sport)....same number but with Sport at the end of each part number....surprisingly...

Best shocks regardless price
Not a high tech suspension setup, but I have a ball joint torsion bar and swing axle bug. Currently using Koni Reds at the rear and stock BOGE on the front.
What is the best shocks should I go for...

Berg shifter
I would choose berg shifter anytime. Other than that, it would be either stock or a Hurst shifter.....if especially when you pay US130 for a Scat shifter.
They are usually sold for approx US70...

in the other forum you mentioned that the Type 1 engine is 1/3 too small for the airflow of an 11 blade fan and unless the shroud is modified, too much airflow can be released...

I believe the bracket is actually custom made. Over here in the Asia region, this is a very common modification,almost in every Bug, as it is too HOT to drive without air...

not sure how supercharger works, but why not go for injection throttle bodies? those are readily avalable and you can use your existing manifolds.
I know you are using the IDF...
