The calipers are a bolt-on the only modification it needs to be done is to have narrow the inside of the caliper bolt holes.
Take some measurements I THINK they need +/- 3-6mm

944 early rear caliper are manfuracted by ATE so you can get rebuild kits...

1986 only 951 has are a bit wider (24mm) and 1987 and up are (64mm) maybe I don't remember the widths right at the moment but I can check this out if you like.
