Big front rotors?

I'm looking for a set of front knock off rotors for my project bug, 5x100. Has anyone here ran either a 13" or 14" front rotor? Or is this over kill for a full weight beetle?

Tires are 215 35 19...

IDF's are more streetable but there is stuff that can be done to IDA's to help(drill 3rd progression hole) IDA's use a piston as an accelerator pump, and i think IDF's use a diaphram. not sure on...

How low do you plan on being? swing gets into some pretty nasty camber if you are going to be down in the dirt.
