My only concern now is that I have the steel IRS arms from a 944 and possible internal diameter issues? From searching it looks like people that have fitted the VW size...

Thanks Dorigtt, that looks very promising. It looks like it was just the bolt he modified, I guess the stock VW threaded part takes the place of the red spacers on the inner side of the bearing..

I've seen those 944 spherical kits but they won't work directly with a bug IRS rear end,...

Hi All,
I'm sick of the squeaking of the urethane bushes in my IRS inners, it gets really bad with rear passengers. Has anybody tried adapting them to rod ends successfully? It's either that or...

I didn't do mine for caster, it was to better control wheel movement. Having a critical part of the suspension control made of spring steel doesn't make sense in my brain!

Looks nice but I think you'll need to allow for more movement than a silicone joiner so short will allow and you will end up damaging the MAF..

All good, boringly reliable but now a bit more driveable and faster courtesy of an RCM header and Harvey Smith up-pipe, I also added a splitter in the bellmouth downpipe!

Mine was 1200kg wet with a full tank, not light but the power more than compensates! 60/40 weight distribution, that was on the MOT scales so possibly not very accurate. I did pick the heaviest bug...
