Motor is nearly finished of, we ordered a Subarugear reverse transmission kit to suit a WB or Type 4 motor. I think the flywheel is pretty sexy.

you could cut a grove and weld a bit 1/2 tubing in there. The rack fitted OK on orange bug with a stock 73 pan, I don't think its in exactly the same position as stock rack

Nice work. I'm not sure how to explain this but on all my cars I cut the very bottom of the section where A pillar and front 1/4 meet, VW put a small hole in there but it can easily block up....
