A while back I read a magazine article with a beetle with 7" koprinz whhels that loooked like stock, even had hub caps fitted. Are these still available and if so does anybody know of a UK supplier?...

vdo temp senders

Hi, I just bought a vdo temp gauge with a dipstick sender. I have an idea in the back of my mind that there is a way of wiring a sump sender into this as well to give an average temp as it is reading...

What would be the correct range on an oil temp and pressure gauge? I have been offered a pressure gauge of 0-5 bar and a temp gauge that goes up to 150 celcius. not sure what that is in psi and...

cookie cutters

Got my eye on a set of 7 inch cookie cutter wheels. They have 205 60 R15 tyres on and I think came from an early eighties 944.

What mods would i have to make to get these under the arches of a 72...

924 rev counter

Is it fairly easy to wire a 924/944 rev counter to the beetle electrics, I think most tachos need a positive, negative and wire to the coil. Is there anything else?

when stf goes down there is only here to come. the sambas forum is a nightmare and while cal look is a great sight the forum is painfull to use.

Is that a new thing? I was looking at doing this swap a while back and all the info said you would have to fit the porsche lever. This was one of the things apart from the irs bit that put me off....

I think you have to change the clutch cable/arm...

I think you have to change the clutch cable/arm to push instead of pull as on the beetle (maybe flip it over? not sure) Also you have to use the porsche lever so there is a bit of cutting and fabbing...
