I've heard there's a cartain model of Porsche front suspension that's a straight swap for the early 1303. Is this true, and does anyone know which type it is?

I know for sure it's not the 944...

Alternatives to standard 1303 dash

As much as I love 1303's (the bulbous front end, the more aggressive stance etc.), I'd be the first to admit the standard dash does not look good! But what is the alternative? I've seen many good...
