Well i am running 16" phonedials which have 205/55 on the rear. which are kinda close to the fenders. I might have to drop down to 205/45 to clear I will just have to see once everything is finished...

IRS conversion and brembo's on 68 squareback
Well I have started now on the IRS conversion with the 944 alum arm
The parts being used for the rear are as followed:
944 alum trailing arm
944t axle assembles cv to cv
996 rear rotors ...

i have some videos on youtube under kombi211 where i modified my hubs as well i used the stock vw inner bearing and machined
.
the hub a lot like the above but i used stock vw drum brake seals...

brembos on my square
I have started adding a brembo brake upgrade on my squareback. 944 front hubs,993 front and rear rotors and brembo calipers from a 944t
I started the front as soon as I am done there will be moving...

there should be no problems with that backing...
there should be no problems with that backing plates the way they are. there is nothing there to leak. the only vw that had a oil slinger that i no of where the swing axle one. being there was gear...

that what i need is a wider track on the arm i have 16 phone dials off a 928 with a offset of 65 and running a thick spacer already 20mm with those arm i will almost eliminate the need for the spacer...

yes they do its called ETKA and its a dealer...
yes they do its called ETKA and its a dealer program and can not be purchased . and it comes with a special hardlock you plug into your pc to make it work. There are some crack versions running...
