Is this the spindle with the 2 bolt setup? If so...

Is this the spindle with the 2 bolt setup? If so I have a set for you with the backingplates also. The only "problem" is that I'm from Holland. Greetings....... :o

My solution is a porsche 996 spare tyre. It's :) a inflatable type but fully inflated it will fit the sparetyre well very nice!!!!! Forgot to say it's a 17 inch rim.

I've converted my 1303 convertible to the suspension of a 1986 Porsche 944T. For the torsionhousing I use the covers of a Porsche 911. The torsionplates have a VW inner and Porsche 944 outer bushing....

Thumbs up do not cut in to the shocktower!!!!

I don't advice to cut in to the shocktower. This will weaken the tower to much. My solution is to just grind 1 mm from the tower and 1 mm from the face of the bolt. Thats all. It works great for me...

I would say a 16 or 18 mm bar would be good...

I would say a 16 or 18 mm bar would be good keeping in mind you have a 22mm bar in the front. I don't recommend a thicker one in the rear because this will make a terrible car to handle...

my solution

I've bolted a standard 924 Turbo swaybar (16 mm) to my pan with brackets I bought from kerscher. No welding what so ever just a bold on. Handling is awsome on my 1303 "vert".
