Just won a bid on ebay for the 2.0 rods. I also just got the heads from a 1.8 Ill have the valves opened up and port and polish and match the itake manifolds for a set of 40 webers. Next mission is...

914 2.0,1.8,1.7 Con Rod compatability?

I just picke up a 2.0 case at the boneyard without heads and pistons and connecting rods. Can I replace the rods from a 1.8 or 1.7 motor Are all models the same in this respect.
