Have any of you guys heard of a 5speed Skoda trans in a Bug?

I noticed one at a local breakers, and it would be cheap. It has very similar dimensions, somewhere between a T1 and a T2 trans....

Hi Andy,

I believe the inner CV joint bolts are the weakest point outside the trans. As for inside- I'm not sure.

The T2 CV's have the same diameter spline as the Bug, and the mounting flange...
