porsche spring plate grommets

quick question as I want to order the parts asap.


I'm fitting modified 944 adjustable spring plates to a 1303 chassis.

Can I use oriignal VW rubber grommets for the inner & outer?

JUst been on the phone to Streetworks & ordered the kit :D , should be with me in a couple of weeks, & then at the speed I work it should be fitted to the car in 2006 :laugh:

I have a 915 in my 73 2.4S, now mine shifts nicely but still its not a quick shift & you would never want to slam it into gear like you can with a vw box.

ignoring cost, IMO the berg5...

alex, I'm fitting my box & shifter in the next week or so (when my berg5 front mount arrives in the post), have you mounted the shifter with the spring mech facing to the front of the car?

streetworks upgrade

as my car has no electics whatso ever at the moment, I was thinking of fitting the streetworks vw modular wiring kit.

has anyone any experience of this kit?
