Let me send you some pics of the mexican headliner in my 74. Just a rectangle snapped in the top of the roof, no glue, just the bows, no padding in mine either. Very light and really cleans up the roof. Local upolstery shop modified a stock headliner for me for $45, had it installed in 30 minutes.
