People the world over (all sub-species, ricers included) are inspired to paint their brake calipers red ('even do their drums! :agree: :agree:
) by the fortunate few owners of baadass 911's.
If my Beetle was a darker colour, I would paint the calipers '6pot yellow' with black detail. If it was a red Beetle, I'd choose black. But I voted red.
When I reach 30, they might get painted black
