whether or not the speed is obtainable through tranny and engine calculations, i think the bigger questions is will the aerodynamics of the car let you get there and sustain it safely. i'm sure it can be achieved (it is on the drag strip), but sustaining without massive buffeting is what i would be concerned about. i'm sure others who have done this or come close will speak up though. i have to stick around for my kids and can't even consider that though.
