I would say no. Especially not from any watercooled cars. Not even from other aircooled cars as the 993 models.
The software to filter out all other noises is very engine specific and tuning of that software very critical as you might imagine.
The only device that can handle an UnderHeadCammed aircooled engine would be the Safeguard, sold by aircooled.net IIRC, but BadBug, you drive that dragrace yellow bug with the huge (2,8 ltr?) oxyboxer don't you? Surely, you're aware of all this...(?)
