got a TYPE 4 CJ 2.0 litre motor with OVAL ports and those copper sealing rings in the head ports. Just replaced them as at least one was leaking. Now I am NOT running heat exchangers but Eurorace J pipes from Stateside Tuning (UK).
Thing is, done all 4 gaskets and now it's blowing like a bugger ! I know their not stock OE heat exchangers, but blimey, they are a pig to seal.
Any one have any ideas to help ? Stateside did reccommend using a bit of exhaust paste on the gaskets. ????
this is my first type 4 (normally a type 1 motor man) but this exhaust is trying my patience !
