Well I got a steering shaft out of a late 74 and it is a drop fit and the GTI steering whell fits right on. $10 for a shaft (juckyard) $35 for a GTI steering wheel (swap meet) and I have an all leather kick a$$ Euro Look wheel and no adapter needed, turn siglal kicks off and the horn works. :silly:
