i think i have worked through all of the modification options to make the kit work. the catch to all is that they are going to put the track back near stock and the PO did all that to JUST BARELY fit the Fuchs. so i would be looking at having to procur high offset rims to fit something back under. and since it has a narrowed beam, i then end up with clearance issues in the front (since there are no Fuchs in high offset and i would have to replace the fronts then to have matching rims and no modern rims have high offset for the rear and low for the front unless i go total custom). i am trying to not dump a bunch of money into this car seeing what i have in it already and the biggest issue...this is my daily driver which is leaving me high and dry. the van is off the road for a while and i don't want to have to daily my bug, but looking that way.
just tried to have the old drums turned, but they are already below specs. so looks like i have to hunt down some drums and change everything back over for now. then regroup and think of other options.
