im pretty sure you can't, the early bugs, swing axles, used short torsion bars where as the later irs bugs use a long torsion bar.
21 3/4 early swing
24 11/16 med stuff
26 9/16 what you need
realignment is not that difficult, search the how to lower your bug articles and posts good stuff there.
