I think that your disc thickness depends on the style caliper that you use. I used the Boxster monoblocks (black in color). The correct disc thickess for these disc is 24mm front and 20mm rear. The boxster S may use a rotor of bigger thickness. I am sure that the rotors I have are the correct ones for the calipers I am using because there are these little posts that the pads sit on. The spacing between these two points is around 26mm so it only aloows for the 24mm thick rotor. The distance between the posts in the back is like 22mm so it only allows for the 20mm rotor. Again, like I said things may be different for the Boxster S calipers. I can get part numbers and a couple picts if you are interested.
