The trap for young players is that the track increases both front and rear- the rear guards can still usually cope with the increase but if you keep the standard guards you'll need to carefully research your wheel selection for the front to fit (the ideal offset is the later Porsche offset of 52- 55 mm).
The other trap is that the camber on the Porsche spindles is more positive than the Beetle spindle- so you will probably need either the H&R camber bolt

and or the Topline camber plus control arm bush.
Your may need new tie rods (this is model dependant and you may get away with out changing them on your model) and/ or you may need to change which way they fit to the spindle (anti bump steer kit).
