he was speaking of front. as noted above, do some search on front. i am no expert, but there are some challenges with spring rates and such. keep in mind the 944 is a hell of a lot heavier in the front than a 130x.
plenty of info on the rear conversion too. depending on if you go early or late ali arms, trackwidth will vary. you can use the Porsche spring plates, pull the molded rubber off and replace with stock VW. some shock tower clearancing is needed. you have to deal with CV size conversion (many different ways available). then to the e-brake issue. some good threads on that already as well.
