5-speed shifter

Hi,

exactly thatīs one of the reasons, why I engineered a shifter with a lowered shifting rod. The system withg the bend rod is working, but itīs not working so very well, as there is always some pressure on the bushing. The reason for this is, that the bend rod wants to make a bigger circle in the back of the car. As it is fixxed to the gearbox it can not do this circular movement. That causes pressure on the bushings and makes the shifting a harder work and by this more and more less exact.
On my system the shift rod is lowered to the ground of the tunnel and is going straight to the back of the car. Besides my shifter only has a shift ratio of 55 mm per gear and is very precise and secure to shift. Have a look on my site and follow this link www.bugat5speed.de/cms/content/view/115/52/.
