The best way to swap engines in my opinion, is to get a DTM shroud from Jake first. He has conversion kits in differnet stages for this swap. This is the best way to convert. Then you need dual carb's and electric fuel pump plus some kind of exhaust system, as the bus stuff won't work in a bug swap. Before you go asking or buying anything for the swap you need to know what year bus it is. I belive the type IV motor started in '72 and went thru '78 or '79 not completely sure on years, but motors went from 1.7, 1.8, and 2.0 thru the years.
