Fweehh!! I've been reading throug Finnish regulations and laws regarding conversions and customizing and finally I think I have found a Rathole to make the Porsche conversion possible...

The Finnish regulations are pretty airtight...

Basically they say that when changing the engine to a bigger engine the largest displacement is 25% calculated from the largest engine in the model range. (=Maximum 1980cc) Also the power increase is only allowed to rise 20% from the most powerful in the modelrange. (= maximum 64,8hp in a T-3) and finally even the weight is restricted to maximum of 30% higher than the largest in the range... (=164 kilo's)

The Porsche engine's specs are as follows:
1991cc
110hp, 130hp or 160hp
182 kilo's

Anyways I've found a paragraph that says that if the replacement engine goes over those limitations it is possible to get it approved if brakes are changed to match the more powerful engine and also if I distribute the weight of the car more evenly. In this case I will locate the battery in the front and also the oilcoolers and sump in the front...

So, I'm still optimistic!

Yes, Finland is the promised land of modifying... :agree:
