ive seen a number of 1776s pull 120-130hp without too much problem if you have big valve heads with a P&P and everything else set up to go with it.
ive seen 1915s pull in the 150+hp range with similar mods.
from what ive seen type4s tend to have slightly lower HP readings for similar size but high torque #s. mostly due to the exhaust port design on the T4 heads
displacement doesn't have a lot to do with MAX hp. that is more an issue of heads/compression ratio/cams. displacement affects torque #s and RPM range. for the same head/cam/CR a small engine and a large engine will be suprisingly close in HP #s but the bigger engine will have more torque and produce its peak power at lower RPM
