Hey fellow GL'ers,

Just thought i'd drop in and introduce myself.

My name's Kenney and i'm from Las Vegas. I'm the proud owner of a '73 standard bug, and co-owner of a '71 super (long story). Well, a quick history of my car should give you all a perspective of where i'm at with it in it's GL transformation.

I was given the car as a welcome home gift after serving my country for all too long. I've had it for almost 2 years now and saved up most of the budget I have to do the whole thing up with. I'm slowly replacing everything on it that is worn out, and installing goodies in preparation for the future. The car's still pretty much stock as it stands with no rust.

Some of the stuff I have planned I already have on hand. Here's a quick list:

2276 T1 EFi Turbo (just started building)
17x7.5 and 17x9 C2s (re-pops)
Super Street tranny
Porsche disc conversion (front)
CB discs in the rear
Gutted interior/roll cage
A-arm front end (pending availability when i'm ready for it)
Little custom things here and there
and a little bit of good attitude

This little fella will be my everyday car. I hope to get a few drags, some auto-X, and some road racing out of this thing in the years to come. More importantly, I hope to learn as much as possible from you guys and some of the articles and tech stuff floating around here.
