Regarding the 923 trans from the 912E:
This is a popular choice because of the gear ratios suited to the type4 engine, and the release mechanism that fits easily.
i did hear somewhere that it is weaker than the typical 915.
True?
What parts would help beef it up some more for drag-racing type starts?
I heard that there is a later-style side cover that would help?
What are my options for an LSD?
