Cruise this Sunday...Oct 5th

Greg is putting on his cruise again this year. Details posted at vwvortex:

From Greg:

"For the past 2 years I have organized an "end of summer" cruise from Burlington to Guelph. This year I was not going to do one due to time constraints, but was asked to by my wife amongst others... so I am doing a kind of "Fall Color Tour". Last year I had about 45 air and watercooled VWs show up for the cruise. It was great. Here are the details for this year:
October 5, 2008 meet up at the Tim Horton's in the Longo's plaza at the corner of Walkers Line and Dundas Street in Burlington at about 10:15am. We leave at 10:45am headed for Belwood Lake Conservation Area and plan to arrive there around noon. Bring food, beverages, and lawn chairs, but there is a restaurant right beside the park. Belwood Lake is just east of Fergus.
This should be a nice little event to end out the summer that wasn't of 2008."

AND:

"Alrighty, did a dry run of the route tonight with the wife. Came up with a few questions to answer as in years past- winner gets a gift certificate for a certain dead hockey player's line of coffee shops.
We will be ending at Rockwood Conservation area. There is an admission fee of $4.25 per person. If I have 50 or more people out to this cruise and to the park the price drops to $3.25.

The park is really nice with an old mill you can take some pretty nice pics of your car by. If you want to grab food you may be able to find a place in Rockwood, but I suggest packing a lunch. Concession stand in the park is closed for the season.

I am really psyched for this. Been polishing up the bus all week and getting her ready for her first cruise. Should be a good time."

So who's going?

Won't be there. I'll be in Vegas on Sunday at the Dragstrip. Bugoramma
