No, the 914 case has only one side plate on it, and no way to bolt the axle tubes on anyway. Way easier to weld a set of IRS pivot mounts on, and go that route.

Berg 5 speed would work with T4, there are 200mm T4 conversion flywheels available at a good price. talk to jeffries in japan about the berg 5 speed.
