Interesting this one. Whether to take the signal from the front (undriven) wheel or to take it from the CV. On balance I would have thought it better to use the undriven wheel since it can only go at road speed unless it is airborne. The driven wheel has the potential that it can spin or actually be stationary with no drive with an open diff. The abs ring on the front wheel seems the best of the options. The undriven wheel is the typical location for the sensor for the Halda style trip computers used in most rally cars (4 wheel drive excepted) so it seems to be the logical location.
