Gearbox is all wrapped up and ready to go back in the car. For future reference, I read a lot of people had issues fitting a quaife with the size of the 3:44 ring and pinion, but I had no issues. I think quaife likely changed there design and some point with a relief to create more space for the nose of the pinion.
