I for one, have never tried a Purolator on a T1. But in a full flow setup, I havent measured any big difference between the Mann & the HP1. Maybe when we hit 6,5K rpm & up there will be a difference. I never tried that.

However, (just came to mind) I did notice a rather high oil pressure on 1 engine at cold morning startups. (-5 degrees C.) But as soon as the oil got massaged a little bit it vent down to normal pressure. It took like 2 minutes or so. This was Pennzoil 15W/40 oil.
I´m not sure if it was viscosity or restriction in the oil system.
