I've used this system and was totally happy with it. Only thing was, I had to modify it to fit a dry-sump pump but otherwise it fitted just fine.
You can use the straps that come with the kit but be sure to weld them properly and they'll last for ever (well almost
)
I even used this system in my old racer, worked good.
