well I can't understand exactly what you're asking, but everything on a bug is positive side switched as far as I know... You mean the switch for turning it on and off is on the positive (hot) wire, wile the ground cable is always connected to the chassis right?
It would be kinda crazy to do it the other way around, keeping the positive cable connected and hot all the time, and switching the ground cable on and off.
If you're not sure, just follow the ground cable starting at the headlight, and it's gonna end inside the trunk, grounded to the metal. No switch there
