Alex, We are of topic, so briefly, with dry sump, a sump extension is alien, just added weight and complexity, it misses the point of d/s completely.
I run a raised trans for racing anyway, I do it by inclination for many reasons, briefly, it's better than a 'level' raise for my underbody Venturi effect, but it's a big subject on its own, regards BBB.
