Hey guys...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been really busy with my "new" car.

I had to buy another car and get it fixed up and running so I can move out of my ex-girlfreinds house.

So I bought (non the less) another VW a 69 standard, in excelent shape. I got it running after I rebuilt the carb and changed the air an fuel filters. I am currently sanding the body and preping it for paint. You guys are gonna like the car when you see it. I might graft 993 head lights into this one along with New Beetle taillights, but I haven't really decided yet, I ahve a little more time to think about it. I have to order new front fenders and I am gonna replace the rear fenders as well ( might go a little wider). the body is cleand completely, no molding or emblems or bumpers or brakets even, am trying to find a non"W" decklid for a early '60s rear end, I changed the rear clip out along with the front clip so I can get that ealier look for my '69 ( I like it better when it come to standard beetles).

I still haven't decided on whether or not I want an air-bag suspension or if I shoudl leave it basicaly stock for now? What do ya think? Bag it or leave it?

I am gonna keep the stock drum brakes (for now) and just use wheel adapters so I can run a set of 17" 3.6 Turbo 3pc. wheels that I found on www.betterbodiesmotorsport.com .

Oh...I'm also gonna keep the stock engine and swap out the exhaust, I am also gonna keep the stockl tranny until it blows on me...its one of those automatic stickshift trannys, I've never worked on one before and haven't really ever seen one for that matter, but I do own one now...it's fun..whenyou hit the right gear (only three + R...L, 1st, 2nd) it takes time to gat used to!

Well thats all for now.

I'm just sorry I didn't let anyone know what was goin on...OOOOPS!
