Anyway, can't help you with the chassis builder. Any decent welding shop should be able to shorten the chassis though...
BTW, Johns Bugshop sells ready to go tube chassis....
Not sure if they would fit though.
I've discovered that there is an enormous amount of patchwork done on my beetle shell, and toyed with the idea of slapping a buggy body on it....
