Nope, never had that before.
Maybe new style trans with the guidance sleeve, but used a pressure plate with the old style throw out bearing attached to diafragm of the pp or vice versa?
However, we could be guessing all day what (mixed) parts were used (and the limited info) that causes this of course...
What does the supplier of the engine and trans have to say in this?
