923 in a 412
I saw a 923 tranny from a '76 912E for sale. I know it is a one-year only tranny but so is an 004 in a 412.
I saw a 412 that has my interest, but it has an automatic.
If it's feasible, I'd consider getting the 412 with the idea of eventually of having a 2056 or a 2270 in it plus a manual. Is the tranny swap feasible?
