Hi Martin,

You need pre 86 944 parts (non turbo if you want them to fit under stock wings). They will fit to either swingaxle or IRS without too much trouble at all.

The easiest way is to buy both rear trailing arms and brake assemblies complete as you will require all of the parts except the trailing arms anyway and you can simply unbolt everything and transfer it directly to your beetle. I paid 50 pounds sterling a side without calipers.

You have a choice of calipers and discs. I opted for the turbo discs and calipers for front and rear, but be careful. You don't want the rears to be out braking the fronts! Also the turbo front conversion isn't all that easy as there are a few clearance problems.
